The Office of Student Health Services works in conjunction with the Office of Environmental Health & Safety and WUSM Protective Services to protect and assist students exposed to different hazardous and biohazardous materials.

The safety of all members of the Washington University School of Medicine community is important to our staff. Please report any type of exposure to hazardous materials, animal-related injury, blood, and/or body fluids to Student Health Services as soon as possible. All exposures to human blood and body fluids are to be reported immediately to the Health Service, which maintains a 24-hour reporting system.

Students should contact Student Health Services at (314) 362-3523. After hours, please call (314) 871-2966 and listen carefully for instructions.
