Payment for medical services will be made directly to the provider. Some providers will submit their bills directly to Student Health Services. If you believe you have received a medical bill in error immediately bring a copy of the bill to Student Health Services or email to Betty Feagans at feagansb@wustl.edu.

Recovery of benefits paid

Student Health Services shall be subrogated to all rights of recovery students have against any party potentially responsible for making any payment to a student, due to injuries or illness to the full extent of benefits provided or to be provided by Student Health Services. In addition, if a student receive any payment from any potentially responsible party as a result of an injury or illness, Student Health Services has the right to recover from and be reimbursed by you for all benefits Student Health Services has provided or will provide to the student, up to and including the full amount received from all potentially responsible parties.

As used in this provision, the term “responsible party” means any party possibly responsible for making any payment to a student or on the student’s behalf due to  injuries or illness or any insurance coverage responsible for making such payment, including but not limited to uninsured motorist coverage, underinsured motorist coverage, personal umbrella coverage, med-pay coverage, workers compensation coverage, no-fault automobile insurance coverage, or any other first party insurance coverage.
