The seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine is now recommended for most people ages 6 months and older.

Joining together to keep our community healthy and safe has perhaps never been as important as it is now. This year, as we grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, the flu vaccine plays a key role in our overall public health efforts. To help prevent a dual epidemic and do our best to keep each of you healthy, students on campus for any period of time must receive this year’s influenza vaccination, unless granted an exemption for medical reasons or religious beliefs.

The mandatory influenza policy is now in effect. Students on campus for any period of time have been identified as an individual who is required to complete this mandatory vaccination.

If you do receive your flu vaccination with any other service outside of Student Health Service the proof and cost will be your responsibility.

All WashU employees, postdocs, residents, fellows and students are required to receive this year’s influenza vaccination, unless granted an exemption for medical reasons or religious beliefs.
